TOP 6 – HEALTHY SMOOTHIE IDEAS

Girl Drinking Smoothie

    • There is an ongoing trend for these “healthy smoothies” in the health word today and many people are attracted by this because of the easy way people make them. They’ve got healthy ingredients in them which is another reason why people are so attracted to them.

    • Not all of them may taste great but most of them do!
However, having a smoothie for breakfast replacing it with solid foods every day isn’t such a good idea because most of the smoothies out there contain 218 calories.
The typical combination of a smoothie would be adding some orange juice, some
      spinach, strawberries, blueberries, bananas etc.

  • Here, the spinach itself consists of 6% calories and the fruits added here add to the sugar content. Thus, most of the calories in these healthy smoothies come from the fruits.

  • It is obvious that these may not be the “ideal drinks” for the diabetic folks out there and because of their sugar content are not the best to drink every day by those who are trying to lose weight either.

  • Although, these healthy smoothies can be great for a snack and they help you stay full for longer.
They are also nutritious and very easy to make.
They consist of fruits which provide you with energy and are easy to digest.

  • If you are trying to lose weight, it is ideal when you eat easily digestible foods and some of the foods that are easy to digest can also be used for cleansing the system.
This leads to weight loss in a healthy way and gives your body more digestive relaxation!

  2. Great ideas – going to try a couple of these smoothies, just don’t think I can convince my kids to drink anything “green”. LOL Want to get some veggies in them though – if I can hide them in some “fruit” smoothies, think that’s my way to go. Thanks Again! JoEllen

    1. Hello, JoEllen!
You can try these smoothies without adding some spinach in them and they are still nutritious for your kids because of the fruit content.
      Thank you 🙂
